The holiday season holds a special place in my heart, especially Christmastime. I love the festive atmosphere, from listening to classic Christmas carols to the soulful sounds of jazzy tunes. It's a time filled with joy and warmth that I look forward to every year.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is truly one of my favorite songs because of its beautiful and heartfelt melody written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane.

My focus is on the true meaning of Christmas, which is the birthday celebration of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That is the reason for the season. We have illustrated this with the cover created with the Star of Bethlehem. The star led the three wise men to Jerusalem, the place where Jesus was born. The three wise men brought gifts of gold,frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus. And we reciprocate gift-giving on Christmas Day to our friends, family and loved ones!

“Wes 8Mile”

the new SINGLE - out now

“Wes 8Mile” is a collaboration between hit guitarist Blake Aaron and myself, with Blake Aaron also handling production. I am thrilled about this release, which is a tribute to one of my guitar heroes, Wes Montgomery.

Growing up in Motown, my father, George "Sonny" Brown, introduced me to jazz, and Wes Montgomery's distinctive style of playing melodies and solos using octaves deeply influenced me. An octave involves playing two notes simultaneously, eight diatonic steps apart.

To honor my hometown and Wes Montgomery, the song is titled "Wes" after Montgomery and "8Mile" after one of Detroit's main streets. I am eager to share this part of my musical journey with everyone and I hope you enjoy it!
